Enamelware is a coated metal that makes it easy to clean, safe to heat and freeze, and does not keep odours. Note that the coating process for enamel products is by hand and therefore some unevenness is expected. Especially at the rim edge of the enamelware where the glazing process is hand dipped twice, first dipping the main vessel and lastly adding by hand the contrasting colour at the rim.
